Journal mission
The journal “Social and philosophical aspects of science and education” aims to advance various aspects of socio-cultural issues in education through professional interactions between members of the scientific and pedagogical community researching these issues in related fields.
The Journal’s primary goal is to provide analytical research into issues in science and education. Scientific reflection allows us to identify pain points and trends in the development of knowledge accumulation and renewal processes regarding socio-cultural phenomena, institutions, and organizations. We understand the need to integrate knowledge accumulated in the social sciences and humanities and encourage authors to adopt interdisciplinary approaches to understanding research topics.
Qualified scientific discussion is a means for advancing knowledge about individuals and society. The journal provides a platform for those wishing to express their views on key issues in science and education.

Editorial Policy
The publishers and Editorial Board of the Journal “Social and philosophical aspects of science and education” are guided by its Mission and adopted Declaration of Ethics. The publishers and Editorial Board are guided by the ethical rules and standards set forth in the Core Practices and Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing, as well as the principles developed by the Committee on Scientific Publication Ethics and the Declaration of the Association of Science Editors and Publishers “Ethical Principles of Scientific Publications.”
The editorial board adheres to ethical standards in its interactions with authors, reviewers, and publishing house staff. Therefore, the Editorial Board adheres to generally accepted standards of ethical conduct for all participants in the process of working with scientific materials.

Authors' Responsibilities
The Editorial Board of the Journal “Social and philosophical aspects of science and education” adheres to the ethical principles of fairness, courtesy, and objectivity. We also expect authors to adhere to the following ethical rules.
Authors of papers submitted for publication to the journal “Socio-Philosophical Aspects of Science and Education” guarantee the originality of their articles. This means that their materials for publication are not currently under review by other journals and have not previously been published in their current or similar form. Authors confirm that their publication does not infringe the copyright of others and guarantee the publisher compensation for any damages in the event of such violations.
The recommended originality rate of published material is no less than 75%.

Authors are responsible for the factual content of their materials. The editors will interpret falsification of data and unethical use of references and citations (excessive self-citations or “friendly” citations) as fraud. Violation of this responsibility rule may result in refusal of publication.

publication ethics require that the names of all colleagues who contributed to the concept and text of the article be included in the author’s list. By default, the editors consider the contributions of all authors to be equal. If authors discover an error or inaccuracy in their article after its publication, they must promptly notify the editors of the Journal “Social and philosophical aspects sf Science and education.” Authors are obligated to assist in correcting the error. In the event of a significant error, authors are obligated to cooperate in promptly retracting the article. A notice will be posted on the Journal’s website, and the information will be transferred to the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) and the ASRI database of retracted articles.
Authors have the right to appeal an editorial decision that rejects an article. To do so, an author who disagrees with the rejection of an article may submit a written statement to the editor, outlining the reasons for their disagreement (providing the necessary theoretical and empirical materials, demonstrating a conflict of interest, or demonstrating the reviewer's incompetence). The Editorial Board makes the final decision after reviewing the submission materials.

A letter informing the Journal’s indexing databases of the article’s retraction and the reasons for the retraction is sent.

- duplicate the article in multiple publications;
- self-plagiarism with a large volume of repetition of research results and text already published in other publications;
- detection of falsifications or fabrication of data;
- detection of serious errors in the publication that call into question its scientific value;
- incorrect list of authors (includes individuals who do not meet the authorship criteria);
- concealed conflicts of interest;
- Republishing an article without the author's consent.
The Editorial Board makes a decision to retract a published article if there are sufficient grounds for doing so. The Journal publishes information about the retraction of the article, along with its metadata. A letter informing the Journal’s indexing databases of the article’s retraction and the reasons for the retraction is sent.
The Editorial Board evaluates manuscripts for their scientific content, regardless of the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, citizenship, or political views.
The Editorial Board agrees with the author on all changes to the article and its final version. Publication of text not approved by the author constitutes a copyright infringement.
Journal editors, having become familiar with the original information contained in articles during the review process, are prohibited from using such information in their own research or for other personal purposes. An editor must decline to review a manuscript if a conflict of interest arises from competition, collaboration, or other relationships with any of the authors.
