How to Submit an Article
Article Content Requirements

The Journal “Social and philosophical aspects of science and education” accepts articles for publication that present the results of independent theoretical and empirical research, as well as scholarly essays on issues in philosophy, education, and sociology. Articles must contain original theoretical ideas, meet the requirements for relevance and scientific novelty, and comply with the journal's specialization and manuscript formatting requirements.

Manuscript Format Requirements

  • Articles in the Journal are formatted in accordance with GOST R 7.07–2021.
  • The text should not exceed one author’s sheet (45,000 characters).
  • The References is provided at the end of the article in alphabetical order and formatted in accordance with GOST R 7.0.100–2018.
  • Figures and diagrams are duplicated and attached in separate files in Russian and English.
  • When using abbreviations within the text, they must be expanded.
  • Articles by graduate students and postgraduate candidates are accepted by the Editorial Board for review only with a review (original or scanned) from the academic supervisor. Publication is free of charge.
  • All manuscripts submitted to the editors are checked for plagiarism using the Antiplagiat system and only then sent for review.
  • The editors reserve the right to reject articles containing less than 75% unique text.

Manuscript Preparation Procedure

  1. UDC.
  2. Full name, patronymic, and last name of the author(s), academic degree, academic rank, position, affiliation (full title according to the charter), country, city, and email address.
  3. The article title. The maximum length of the article title is 10–12 words.
  4. The abstract (200–250 words) is to include the problem statement, methodology, research results, and conclusion.
  5. Keywords (5–15 words).
  6. The information about the authors, article title, abstract, and keywords in English.
  7. The main body of the article is structured as follows: introduction, methods and materials, research results, conclusion, and the list of references in Russian (15–20 sources).
  8. References in English. Information for each source is provided in accordance with the original translation of the article and the journal title. The authors’ last names and initials are formatted according to transliteration rules.
  9. The author contributions + English version (if there is more than one author).
  10. Conflict of interest statement

Requirements for the Author’s Original Text

  1. Text Editor software – MS Word.
  2. Typeface – Times New Roman.
  3. Font size (point size) – 14.
  4. Line spacing – 1.5.
  5. Paragraph indentation – 1.25.
  6. Margins – all 2 cm.
  7. Justification of text.
  8. Automatic hyphenation.
  9. Acceptable highlighting includes italics and bold type; underlining is not allowed.
  10. References are provided in square brackets, indicating the source number in the list and the page number of the citation (GOST R 7.0.5 2008).
  11. Hyphens must be different from dashes.
  12. Dashes and quotation marks must be printed (throughout the text).
  13. Spaces between paragraphs are not allowed.
  14. Illustrations must be black and white only, without halftones, in vector formats: WMF, EMF, CDR; Raster images – in TIFF or JPG format with a resolution of at least 300 pixels/DPI, in actual size.
  15. Black and white diagrams are allowed from MS Excel and MS Visio, along with the original file.
  16. Tables with a serial number and title should be submitted in Microsoft Word or Excel (*.doc format) as a separate file. The location of the table should be indicated in the text.
  17. When inserting equations, use only Microsoft Equation 3.0 (the built-in equation editor for Microsoft Office), and center equations on the page. It is recommended to number only equations that are referenced.

Along with the manuscript, authors must send the following documents electronically to: centripd@kuz-edu.ru

  • Information about the authors for each author
  • A scanned copy of the Article Publication Application, signed by the author or, for a group of authors, by an authorized representative of all co-authors

The article, along with all supporting documents, must be submitted electronically to centripd@kuz-edu.ru

Review and Editing

All submitted manuscripts undergo an independent external peer review process.


The review process is anonymous for both the reviewer and the author. Based on the review results, the Editorial Board makes a decision: accept the manuscript, send it back to the authors for revision, or reject it, and notifies the authors accordingly.


The editors do not enter into discussions with the authors of rejected materials.


After acceptance, the article undergoes the editing process.


The authors agree to the editorial revisions, make any necessary corrections, revise the manuscript if necessary, and return it to the editors.

Publication Funding

  • The articles are published at the expense of the founder's funds and are completely free of charge for the authors.
  • Royalties for articles are not paid.
